Developed and conducted hands-on training for a large pharmaceutical company's employees who are involved with the HAZMAT Team to effectively conduct confined space rescue within the facility. This training included classroom instruction tailored to the facility, and hands-on drill within a confined space to simulate an actual confined space rescue. The rescue drill was critiqued by PHASE to facilitate continuing improvement of confined space rescue skills. The key was to keep attendees mentally and physically engaged with the emergency response and use of the supplies and equipment. A lot of desk top exercises were used and hands on equipment usage through drills were planned accordingly. |
