PHASE Associates provides a wide variety of industrial hygiene consulting services including Hazard Communication and 'Right to Know' program development, employee exposure (airborne) measurement surveys, noise surveys, health hazard assessments, material safety data sheet development, OSHA Respirator Protection program development, laboratory fume hood testing, and radon measurements. We will design programs to meet our clients' particular needs.

Biosafety Program
Develop a written program and employee risk assessment to blood borne pathogen agents. Conduct employee refresher training and biosafety audits.

Hazard Communication & Right to Know

Identify hazardous chemicals; develop proper inventory control procedures (including Material Safety Data Sheets) and warning labeling.  Provide onsite employee training.

 
Industrial Hygiene Measurements
Conduct measurements to determine personnel exposures to airborne chemicals. Identify airborne exposure hazards and compare to the OSHA standards and other occupational safety and health guidelines.
 
Laboratory Fume Hood Measurements
Perform face velocity ventilation measurements for laboratory and other types of exhaust hoods.
 
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Development
Assist in all or parts of the development of MSDS.  We will take your raw material ingredients and develop health and safety precautions and other information to produce an accurate and comprehensible MSDS.
 
Noise Surveys
Conduct noise surveys for OSHA compliance purposes. Develop and organize a Hearing Conservation program.
 
Respiratory Protection Program

Determine and develop an overall respirator program for employees exposed to atmospheric contamination or working in oxygen deficient environments. Program includes an assessment, selection of respirators and training, maintenance and use, quantitative and qualitative fit testing, inspection, and referral to occupational physicians for medical clearance examination requirements.
